About Dr. Dean

Dr. Chase Dean is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement. He practices at Total Joint Specialists, where he focuses on adult hip and knee reconstruction, including complex reconstructions. Dr. Dean's advanced training in minimally invasive surgical techniques, such as direct anterior hip replacement, partial knee replacement, and robotic-assisted surgery, has resulted in shorter hospital stays and faster recovery times for his patients, leading to higher overall patient satisfaction.After completing his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Colorado, where he served as Chief Resident, he went on to perform a fellowship in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction at Emory University.Dr. Dean is committed to patient-centric care, emphasizing personalized treatment plans including operative and nonoperative approaches to help his patients achieve optimal function and quality of life. He is an active member of professional organizations, including the Georgia Orthopaedic Society and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Dean resides in Suwannee, Georgia, with his family. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, exploring new cuisines, playing pickleball, working out, practicing yoga, playing golf, and spending time with his wife and young children.He has offices in Cumming and Braselton, Georgia and is currently accepting new patients.
